#   smoke                Explicit execution-only coverage. The deck must still
#                        parse, build, and complete the requested analyses.
#   scripted_control     Upstream ngspice deck carries validation logic in a
#                        .control script that RSpice does not yet interpret.
#   expected_unsupported The deck intentionally exercises an unimplemented
#                        feature. The runner must report a named unsupported
#                        feature; if it does not, the contract is stale.
#   expected_unsupported_without_veriloga_builtins
#                        The deck requires a generated Verilog-A builtin that
#                        is intentionally outside the default feature set.
#                        Default builds must report the named unsupported
#                        generated-builtin feature; veriloga-builtins builds
#                        run the deck normally.
#   expected_unsolvable  The deck is adjudicated genuinely un-simulatable;
#                        some RSpice analysis must end in a clean refusal
#                        diagnostic -- Newton convergence failure or
#                        timestep-collapse refusal -- and completing every
#                        analysis instead fails the deck for re-adjudication.
#                        Timeouts, aborts, parse and build errors stay
#                        genuine defects.
#   reference_unsolvable The current reference simulator cannot produce a
#                        comparable oracle. Historical upstream .out data is
#                        retained for provenance but not used as a numeric
#                        oracle; RSpice must parse, build, and either complete
#                        the requested analyses or terminate with a clean
#                        refusal diagnostic. diffamp: ngspice-46 fails its
#                        operating point with a singular matrix, while the
#                        checked-in AC table is a 2009 historical oracle that
#                        omits the current VBIC TD excess-phase behavior.
#   locked_grid          Transient comparison replays the reference table's
#                        recorded time axis as the exact accepted-step
#                        sequence: physics parity judged on equal grids, for
#                        waveforms whose free-run pointwise values encode the
#                        producing binary's adaptive-step choices.
#   measures             Transient comparison gates on extracted engineering
#                        quantities declared in <deck>.gates.tsv (crossing
#                        times, settled means, peak amplitudes), computed
#                        identically from the reference table and the
#                        simulation. For waveforms whose raw tail samples are
#                        chaotic amplifications below solver tolerance: the
#                        reference simulator's own answers move tens of
#                        percent under timestep refinement there.
